A Person Was Killed Due To A Tree Fall At Pahala Kadugannawa

A person was killed and two others

have been injured and hospitalized after a tree had collapsed on to a few trade stalls at a market  near the Pahala Kadugannawa area this evening (05)as a result of a strong wind blown across the area .

The injured female and a male at the market have been admitted to Kandy Teaching Hospital for treatment.

The Body of the deceased male had been sent to Kandy Hospital.

Mawanalla Police are conducting an investigations over the incident.

Seven Persons Arrested Over Sexually Molesting Of Two School Girls

Thalathuoya Police have last evening

(04)arrested seven in humans over sexually molesting two school girls at Thalathuoya area.

Among those arrested were a father of a one School girl and a brother and cousin brother of other school girl Police have said.

These School Girls who were molested time to time by the suspects have fled away from their houses and complaint on the incidents to the Police .

A Wild Elephant Responsible For Several Human Deaths And Property Damages Has Been Captured In Dimbulagala

A Wild Elephant who was responsible

for several human deaths and  property damages  in Dimbulagala area has been captured by the Wild Life officers in Polonnaruwa at Ellewewa area in Dimbulagala on last Wednesday  (03)evening after a Three day operation .

The Wild Elephant who is around 45 years old  was captured by the Wild Life officers with the assistance of residents of the area .

He was later transported to Elephant Conservation Center at Horowpathana by an open Truck it has been reported.
