A LTTE Suspect Was Arrested While Hiding In A House In North
A LTTE suspect who hasn't undergone
the Government Rehabilitation programme was arrested by the Police while hiding in a house at eighth lane in Shanthipuram ,KilinochchI this morning (22).
The suspect is the sixth LTTE Suspect Arrested since last June after receiving an information from a LTTE Suspect Arrested With A Stock Of arms,LTTE Cloths and flags last June at oddusudan ,Mulathivu.
Terrorism Control Units of KilinochchI, Oddusudan and Mulathivu Police stations are investigating on the incident.

A Female Was Arrested With Heroin Packettes
A 24 year old female was arrested by
the Police today (22)with around 57 Heroin Packettes in her possession at 95 watte area in Hulftsdorf .
The suspected female has hidden the Heroin Packettes in her under wear and they were recovered by a group of Female Police officers checked her.
The estimated value of the stock of Heroin Packettes more than Rs.50,000 it has been revealed.
Keselwattte Police are investigating over the incident and the suspect is due to be produced before the court.

Governmemt Has Gazetted The Names Of 15 Newly Appointed Members Of Salary Anomalies Commission
Government has Gazetted the names of
the 15 newly appointed members representing the Salary Anomalies Commission it has been announced today (22).
So. Ranugge has been appointed as the chairman of the Commission and the priority work of the Commission will be looking in to the ways of removing Salary Anomalies of all Government workers and creating a reasonable salary structure for the workers .
The Commission is due to submit it's report to the Government within a two month period.
