A 15 Hour Water Cut To Be Implemented In Biyagama Tomorrow (31)

A 15 hour Water Cut will be implemented  in 17 areas belonging to Biyagama North Free Trade Zone from 9 a.m to 12 in the midnight tomorrow (31)due to an essential repair work of pipe line according to National Water Supplies and Drainage Board .

Accordingly the Water Cut will be implamented in 17 Grama Seva Divisions (Rural Service Divisions) including Biyagama North, Siyambalapewatte ,Alubowila,De katana and Dompe areas.

A School Boy Was Killed And Eleven School Children And A Driver Injured Due To Three Wheeler-Bus Collision

One School  boy was killed and 11 other School Children and a Three Wheeler Driver had been injured and Hospitalized after the Three Wheeler they were travelling in colliding with a Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) Bus at Pulyankulama area in Vavuniya this noon (30).


The injured 11 School Children critically had been admitted to the Vavuniya Hospital for treatment according to Puliyankulama Police.

The Accident occurred when the Three Wheeler transporting 12 School Children attached to the Puliyankulama Primary School colliding with a SLTB Bus travelling Colombo to Jaffna.

Police are conducting an investigations over the incident.

Six Persons Caused a Fire In Niyandagala Reserve Were Arrested

Six persons have been arrested over
lighting fire to the Niyandagala reserve at Imbulpe Provincial secretariat yestetday(29) it has been reported.

Due to fire which is still spreading in around 100 acres of land belonging to the reserve had been destroyed and Authorities are still not able to control the fire.

The fire was erupted at Pareviyangala Mountain Chain in Belihuloya, Balangoda popularly known as "love mountain "it has been revealed.

It's a part of "World's End" known as lokanthaya.
