Five Areas In Colombo To Experience A Six Hour Power Cut From Today (27)

Five areas in Colombo District ,Colombo-03,04,05,07 and 08 will be experienced a six hour power cut from today (27) upto next Tuesday (31) due to an essential renovation work which is being carry out in the 132 Kilo Watt Power Grid System of Colombo according to the Ministry of Power And Renewable Energy.

Thesee areas will be experienced the Power Cut from 9 a.m to 3 p.m during the period the Ministry has announced.

Two Persons Were Hospitalized Due To A Bus-Fuel Bowser Collision

Two persons have been injured and hospitalized due to a Sri Lanka Transport Board Bus (SLTB) -Fuel Bowser Collision at Karapitiya area last night (26).

The injured Vehicle Assistant of the Fuel Bowser and the conductor of the SLTB Bus who was schoked due to the incident had been admitted to the Kalpitiya District Hospital for treatment.

The incident occurred when the Fuel Bowser colliding with a parked SLTB Bus at Kalpitiya last night.The Bus drifted away and crashed in to a nearby lamp post.The conductor of the Bus was sleeping in the Bus at that time it has been revealed.

The incident occurred as the driver of the Fuel Bowser fallen a sleep while driving according to the Police.
