Five Persons Injured Due To A Road Accident
Five Persons have been injured one critically and hospitalized after the Lorry they were travelling in toppled over the Mahakumbukkadawala, Kottukachchiya road this noon(19).
The injured who are residents of Mahawewa area have been admitted to the Kottukachchiya Hospital for treatment.
The incident occurred when the Lorry travelling from Kottukachchiya area to Anuradhapura had allowed a Water Bousar to overtake the Lorry it has been revealed.

Two Houses Have Been Severely Damaged After A Jack Tree Fallen In To Them
The residents of these houses have escaped unharmed according to the Police.
The tree had fallen on to two houses due to the strong winds and showers prevailing in the area it has been reported.
The residents of the damaged houses had complaint to the Dimbulapathana Police over the damages done to their houses.
More Than Two Acres Of Land Have Been Destroyed In Somawathiya National Park Due To A Fire
More than Two acres of land belonging to Somawathiya National Wildlife Park located at "Mada Salawa" area between the historical Somawathiya Temple and Periya Aru bridge had destroyed due to a fire erupted there since this noon(19)it has been reported.
