President Maithripala Sirisena Had Left For Italy To Attend An International Summit

President Maithripala Sirisena accompanied by a twenty member delegation had left for Rome,Italy today(14)to attend an International Summit scheduled to be held in Rome,Italy on 16 th of July ,organized by World Food And Agricultural Organization .

President is due to visit Georgia after the Summit it has been revealed.

All Ceylon Bakery Owners Association To Increase The Price Of Bakery Products Except Bread

The All Ceylon Bakery Owners Association has decided to increase the prices of all Bakery Products including Short Eats with effect from midnight tomorrow(15).

However the Price of a loaf of Bread will not be increased the Association has stated.The reason behind the price Increase of Bakery products not yet been revealed.

The Association had recently reduced the price of a Cup of Plain Tea and Milk Tea by Rs.5 as a result of the price reduction of a Gas Cylinder.

A Father And Son Were Killed Due To A Road Accident

A father and son were killed and Mother was injured and hospitalized after the Motorcycle they were travelling in colliding with a lamp post at Seppukulama Junction in Anuradhapura this evening(14).

The three of the critically injured  have been admitted to the Mihintale Hospital where the 41 year old father and his 08 year old son had succumbed to their injuries and the Mother was later transferred to the Anuradhapura General Hospital.

The deceased were residents of Horowpathana area and they had met with  the accident while on their way to Mihintale it has been revealed.
