Airport Ccustoms Have Arrested An Indian National With Nine Gold Pieces In Possession
Airport Customs Officers have arrested a 28 year old Indian National while attempting to smuggle Nine Gold Pieces weighing 290 Grammes at the Katunayake ,Bandaranaike International Airport yesterday(12).
The Gold Pieces were hidden in their luggage and cloths.
The estimated value of the Gold Pieces taken in to custody is Rs.1.86 million it has been revealed
The suspect had arrived at Katunayake Airport from Kualalampur,Malaysia it has been revealed.
The Indian National is a resident of Tamil Nadu .

Two Persons Have Been Arrested With Two Valuable Sea Shells
Special Police Task Force Personal have
arrested two persons with two Sea Shells suspected as a "Triton" type Conch Shells(Valampuri) in their possession at Vishwamadu area in Dharmapuram ,Kilinochchi last evening(12).
They were arrested while transporting the two shells in a Motorcycle.
The suspects are residents of Kodikamam area of the ages 25 and 37 years old .Thet are due to be produced before Kilinochchi Magistrate Court.

Three Persons Have Been Arrested With A Tusk Pearl Bracelet
Beruwala Police had arrested three persons with a Bracelet made of 13 Tusk Pearls in possession at Paranakade area in Beruwala last night(12).
The three suspects have been arrested while attempting to sell the Bracelet according to the Police.
Police have used a Police Constable as a buyer and purchased the Bracelet for Rs.1 million from the suspects to identify tbeir illegal business it has been revealed.
The suspects are residents of Beruwala area of the ages 31.33 and 40 years old.
The Bracelet is worth around Rs.10.2 million Police have stated.
