A Sudden Fire Erupted AT A Building Attached To Diyathalawa Air Force Base

A sudden fire erupted  at the Official quarters  of Trainee Airmen attached to the Diyathalawa Air force Base today (12) had doused by the Air Force and Army  according to the Air Force Media Unit.

 No casualties have been reported as the Trainee Airmen had left their quarters due to vacation. 

 The fire had erupted in a Quarters Building which was closed and officials believes an electric leak might have caused the fire .

A Two Day National Dengue Control Programme To Be Implemented In Eight Districts

A two day Special National Dengue Control Programme
 will be implemented in 52 Dengue Risk MOH Divisions belongs to 08 Districts on tomorrow (12) and the day after(13) according to National Dengue Control Programme.

This Dengue Control Programme with house to house inspection will be implemented in Colombo, Gampaha, Mahanuwara,Jaffna,Vavuniya,Trincomalee,Batticaloa and Kakutara Districts.

Due to the South West monsoon rain prevails in the island at present there's  a risk of spreading Dengue in these Districts according to Epidemeologists.
