Around 13 School Children Have Been Hospitalized Due To A Food Poisioning

Around 13 school children attached to the Madagama National School  in Monaragala have been hospitalized today(06) believes to be due to a food
poisioning.

The group of students were hospitalized with symptoms Like scratching of the skin  and lumps  on the skin .

A Sudden Fire In Accident Unit Of Embilipitiya Hospital Had Closed Due To A Fire

The Accident Unit of Embilipitiya General Hospital had temporarily closed today(06) following a sudden fire erupted in the main power supply system of the unit this morning .

Due to the fire the main power supply system of the Accident Unit was completely destroyed it has been reported.

No casualties have been reported due to the incident.

New President's Secretary Has Been Appointed

The former secretary of the Ministry of Science.Technology and Research Udaya R Seneviratne  has been appointed as the new Presidential Secretary today(06).Image result for udaya r seneviratne
The new Secretary to the President had taken his letter of appointment from the President Maithrpala Sirsisena this morning at the Presidential Secretariat.

He was a Science graduate of Kelaniya University and obtained his masters on mass communication from the same university.

The former President's Secretary Austin Fernando has resigned from his post yesterday(06).

CPC Has Increased The Fuel Prices YESTERDAY(05) And Reduced To Previous Prices Today(06

Image result for cpc fuelThe Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) which increased the prices of Diesel And Petrol with effect from midnight yesterday(05) again requested their Fuel Filling Stations to sell the Fuel prices for previous prices through a circular issued today(06).

The price increase made by CPC was ordered to cancel under the instructions of the President Maithripala Sirisena  .

The CPC has increased the prices of  a liter of Petrol-92 by Rs.8,Petrol-95 by Rs.7 Super Diesel by Rs.10 and Diesel by Rs.9 with effect from midnight yesterday.Accordingly Lanka Indian  Oil Company (LIOC) had increased their fuel prices namely A liter of Petrol-92 by Rs.146,Petrol Extra Premium -95 (EURO 4) by Rs.158,Petrol Extra Premium(Euro 3) by Rs.149,AUTO Diesel by Rs.118,Diesel Extra mile by Rs.122 and Super Diesel (Euro 4) by Rs.129.
