Funeral Of The Late Actor Roy De Silva Was Held At Borella Cemetary

The funeral of the  veteran Popular Cinema Artist Late Roy De Silva who had passed away last Saturday night (30) due to a heart attack had taken place at the Borella Cemetary this evening(02) with the participation of a large gathering including Artists and Fans.

The coffin of the late actor was at Jayaratna Parlour in Colombo from yesterday (01) and the coffin was displayed while closing it  as per the last wish of the deceased actor.

President Maithripala Sirisena was among the large number people who paid their last respects to the late actor.

Two Motorcyclists Were Critically Injured Due To A Motorcycle Collision

Two Motorcyclists a male and a female have been critically injured and hospitalized due to a collision of two Motorcycles they were riding in front of the Ambalanthota Mamadala Collage this noon(02).

The injured were admitted to the Hambanthota General Hospital for treatment.

The accident was occurred when the two Motorcyclists who are residents of Ambalanthota area were  riding their Motorcycles from Embilipitiya to Ambalanthota according to the police.

Four Persons Were Injured Due To A Grenade Attack

Four persons including a female have been injured and hospitalized due to a grenade attack launched at a House in Bohingamuwa ,Kuliyapitiya last night(01).

The injured were admitted to the Kuliyapitiya hospital for treatment.

A resident in Bohingamuwa area who had involved in a brawl with a group of persons in a wedding was responsible for the Grenade attack according to the Police.

The person has fled away from the area and Police have launched a mission to arrest him.
