An Army Soldier Had Committed Suicide At A Army Camp

A 22 year old Army Soldier had committed suicide by shot himself from his official firearm at the Arali Army base in Kayts (Northern Province)last night (28).

The reason behind the suicide has not yet been revealed.The deceased was a resident of Udakirilla in ,Ratnapura area.

Kayts Police are investigating over the incident,

A Person Was Killed And Three Others Injured Due To Three Wheeler-Bus Collision

A 38 Year old Three Wheeler Driver was killed and his wife and two children have been injured and hospitalized after the Three Wheeler they were traveling colliding with a Private Bus arrived in front at the 15th Post in Gokarella area today(29).

The Critically injured Driver had succumbed to his injuries after admission to the Gokarella Hospital for treatment.The injured wife and two children of the deceased person have been transferred to Kurunagala Teaching Hospital for treatment.

The deceased was identified as a resident of Galewela ,Puwakpitiya area.

A Female Was Killed Due To A Wild Elephant Attack

A 69 year old Female was killed due to a Wild Elephant Attack while at Home at Kandeyaya in Puttalam early this morning (29) it has been reported.

The critically injured female had succumbed to her injuries after admission to the Puttalam Hospital.The deceased had faced the incident while at the Kitchen of her house it has been revealed.
