Postal Trade Unions Have Temporarily Suspended The Postal Strike
Postal Workers Trade Union Alliance had suspended the 16 day old Strike temporarily with effect from midnight tonight(26) after holding discussions with Minister of Postal and Muslim Affairs A.H.Haleem and the Salary Commission over their demands.
Postal Trade Unions have launched an Island Wide strike on 10 th of June by demanding to grant promotions and service Confirmations of Postal workers lost due to the public administration circular 06/ 2006 and drafting a service minute for postal workers.
The striking unions have launched a fasting campaign recently by demanding solutions for their service demands .
