However the Criminal Investigations Department (CID)had yesterday (07)informed the Colombo Fort Magistrate Court that the State Minister Senasinghe had received the money in three stages from the Perpetual Treasuries after the Electuon and the Minister had cashed the Cheques received through a Sub Inspector attached to the Ministereal Security Division and through his Election and financial co-ordinators.
Sri Lanka Ayurveda Drug Manufacturing Corporation has decided to produce the required amount of Coconot oil within the Corporation to minimize the annual expenditure spend on Coconut oil according to it's Chairman Lal Samarasinghe.
Ayurveda Corporation is currently spending Rs.30 million annually to purchase Coconot oil he has stated.
Government has decided to reduce the price of Kerosene by Rs.25 -30 with effect from Monday(11) to facilitate the low income groups and fisheries community in the country according to State Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic resources Dilip Wedaarachchi.
Accordingly a liter of Kerosene will be reduced from Rs.25 to Rs.30 from the current price Rs..101 he has stated.The new price of Kerosene will be Rs. 71 or Rs.76 per a liter it has been revealed.
The Price of Kerosene Liter was increased by Rs.57 from Rs.44 to Rs.101 recently to prevent some persons from using Kerosene for irregularities and mixing with fuel.
