Agri Faculty Of The Ruhunu University Had Closed Due To A Viral Fever

Authorities have closed the Agriculture Faculty of the University Of Ruhuna located in Mapalana until further notice due to a viral fever spreading in the faculty .

Around 100 students of the faculty got sick during last few days due to the fever according to the authorities.

A Stock Of Cloths Had Destroyed Due To A Fire Erupted In A Lorry

A Stock of cloths had destroyed due to a sudden fire erupted in a Lorry which transported them from Kadawatha to Matara between 19.4 to 19.5 Kilo Meter Posts at Millaniya area in the Southern Expressway this afternoon (08).No one was injured due to the incident according to reports.


The fire was doused by the Police Officers attached to the Galanigama Entry Police Check Point in the expressway it has been revealed.

The cause of the fire not yet been revealed.
