Airport Customs Have Arrested Two Chinese Females With Stock Of Cigarettes

Airport Customs Officers have arrested
two Chinese Females with 200 cartons contained 40,000 Cigarette sticks illegally brought to the country at the Katunayake International Airport this morning(02).

The two suspected females of the ages 39 and 40 years  had arrived at the Katunayake Airport from China it has been revealed.The estimated value of the stock of Cigarettes is around Rs.2 million according to the Customs.

The stock of Cigarettes was confiscated and the Two chinese females have been released after warning them severely.

Four Chinese Female Prostitutes Were Arrested In Colombo

Colpetty Police have arrested four
Chinese Female Prostitutes during a raid carried out in a Brothal House run by a foreign female  at Colpetty under a search warrant obtained from the Colombo Fort Magistrate.

The Suspected females arrested during the raid are of the ages 38,39,45 and 48 years and they do not  have proper visas to stay in the country it has been revealed.They are due to be produced before the Colombo Fort Magistrate.

Two Persons Were Arrested While Transporting Heroin

officers have arrested two persons including a female while transporting little more than 15 Grammes of Heroin at Akuregoda in Thalangama yesterday (01).

The suspects were arrested while transporting the haul of Heroin in a Motorcar it has been revealed.They are due to be produced before the Kaduwela Magistrate Court today(02).

A Person Was Arrested With 1.160 KG Of Gold At The Airport

Airport Customs have arrested a 40

year old Sri Lankan Businessman while attempting to smuggle 1.160 Kilo Grammes of Gold illegally to the country this morning(02) at the Katunayake Bandaranaike International Airport.

The suspect who is a resident of Colombo had arrived at the Airport from Dubai .

The estimated value of the stock of Gold taken in to custody in possession of the suspect is around Rs.6.9 million it has been revealed.
