Thirty Two Persons Have Been Injured Due To A Road Accident In Madawala

Thirty two persons who were on

pilgrimage have been injured and hospitalized after the Private Bus they were travelling in fallen in to a precipice at madawala in Galagedara of  the  Katugasthota -Kurunagala main road this evening(30).

The injured were admitted to the Kandy Teaching Hospital and surrounding hospitals for treatment.

Galagedara Police are conducting an investigations over the incident.

The state funeral of the late filmmaker Dr.Lester James Pieris is scheduled to be held on this Wednesday(02) at 4 p.m.

He was passed away at a Private Hospital in Colombo after prolonging illness yesterday(29).
