The new cabinet will be appointed

before commemorating May day next month according to President Maithtipala Sirisena.

During the Cabinet reshuffle the Ministry of Buddhasasana likely to be changed ,President has stated while attending a function in Rangiri Dambulu Temple.

Four Suspects Have Been Arrested While Attempting To Smuggle A Stock Of Gold To India

Airport customs have arrested four

persons while attempting to smuggle a stock of Gold weighing around 1.5 kilo Grammes to Mumbai,India today at the Katunayake,Bandaranaike International Airport.

The stock of gold the suspects including three frmales attempted to smuggle to India worth around Rs.8.9 million according to Customs.

The suspects are residents of Jaffna,Galle and Colombo areas it has been revealed.Customs are incestigating over the incident.
