A Police Constable Was Killed Due To A Tipper Truck- Motorcycle Collision

A 47 year old Police constable attached to the Gampaha Office of State Intelligence Division was killed due to a Tipper Truck-Motorcycle collision at Galkanda-Minuwangoda area on Minuwangoda-Divulapitiya road today(25).

The accident occurred while the Police

Constable riding his Motorcycle on an official work  and colliding with a Tipper truck arrived in from the back side when the truck attempted to overtake the Motorcycle it has been revealed.

Police have arrested the Tipper truck driver and his assistant over the incident.

Eight Sri Lankans Went To Austalia By A Boat Were Expelled To Sri Lanka

Australian government had expelled eight Sri Lankans who went to there  by a Boat from Sri Lanka and soon after they arriving today(25) at Katunayake Bandaranaike International Airport the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) officers have arrested them for questioning it has been reported.

The eight suspects have been released on surety bail of  Rs.100,000 each and Rs.10,000 cash bail each by the Minuwangoda Magistrate Court after been produced them before the court .The eight suspects have been ordered to appear before the court on 11th of September this year.
