A Person Was Arrested Over Attempting To Abduct A Small Girl
A person was captured and handed
over to the police by the residents of Raththota in Matale yesterday(20) after he attempted to abduct a five and half year old girl who was with her mother at the Raththota bus stand.
The suspect was arrived from a Three Wheeler and attempted to abduct the girl it has been revealed.At the time of the incident mother had screamed and people around had captured the suspect and handed him over to the police.
Police believed the father of the small girl who was seperated from the family hired the suspect to abduct the small girl.

A couple was killed after the
Motorcycle they were travelling colliding with a Van at Karambankulama area in Madawachchiya area last morning(20).
The deceased were identified as a 21 year old female and 25 year old male from galkandegama in Madawachchiya area.
The driver of the Van too got injured and admitted to the Madawachchiya Hospital for treatment.
