Sixteen SLFP Ministers,Deputy Ministers And State Ministers Voted In Favor Of The No Confidence Motion Requested Permission To Quit Their Posts
Sixteen Ministers,Deputy Ministers and
State Ministers representing Sri Lanka Freedom Party(SLFP) who had voted in favor of the no confidence motion submitted against Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe had requested yesterday (07) a permission of President Maithripala Sirisena to resign from their posts in the current national government .
The group of SLFP Ministers ,Deputy Ministers and State Ministers due to discuss on the resigning from.their posts of the national government during the Central Committee Meeting of the SLFP scheduled to be held tomorrow(09).
Some of the governing United National Party MP's have too stated that they should not hold any posts of the national government after voting in favor of the no confidence motion against Prime Minister.
Deputy Speaker Thilanga Sumathipala of SLFP was assaulted by some MP's after he was voting in favor of the motion .
