Sixteen SLFP Ministers,Deputy Ministers And State Ministers Voted In Favor Of The No Confidence Motion Requested Permission To Quit Their Posts
Sixteen Ministers,Deputy Ministers and
State Ministers representing Sri Lanka Freedom Party(SLFP) who had voted in favor of the no confidence motion submitted against Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe had requested yesterday (07) a permission of President Maithripala Sirisena to resign from their posts in the current national government .
The group of SLFP Ministers ,Deputy Ministers and State Ministers due to discuss on the resigning from.their posts of the national government during the Central Committee Meeting of the SLFP scheduled to be held tomorrow(09).
Some of the governing United National Party MP's have too stated that they should not hold any posts of the national government after voting in favor of the no confidence motion against Prime Minister.
Deputy Speaker Thilanga Sumathipala of SLFP was assaulted by some MP's after he was voting in favor of the motion .

United National Party (UNP) Ministers and MP's had been appointed to fill five top posts of the United National Party including it's leader before 30th of April during the Party meeting held yesterday (07)regarding the proposed party reforms at the Prime Minister's official residence "Temple Trees " in Colombo.
The committe members have been elected by a secret ballot of UNP MP's and they are due to find out the suitable candidates to fill the posts of leader,Deputy Leader,Assistant Leader ,Chairman and General Secretary of the party before 30 th of April.
The committee is comprising of fourteen Ministers and MP's including Akila Viraj Kariyawasam,Navin Dissanayake, Ranjith Madduma bandara,Harin Fernando,Gayantha Karunathilake ,Sajith Premadasa,Ravi Karunanayake,Ruwan Wijewardane , Eran Wikramaratne,Ajith .P.Perera,Nalin Bandara,Ashoka Priyantha,J.C Alawathuwala .

Two Workers Injured After A Part Of A Concrete Slab In Newly Constructed Building Collapsing On To Them
Two workers attached to a newly
cconstructed three storied building located behind the Dambulla Economic Center were injured and hospitalized this evening(07) after a part of a concrete slab in the third floor of the building collapsed on to them.
The injured were admitted to the Dambulle Base Hospital.
The incident occurred during the laying of the concrete slab at third floor of the building it has been revealed.
