Sri Lanka Navy Divers Had Recovered A Ship Sunk In 1942 Due To A Japanese Bomb
Sri Lanka Navy divers had recovered a ship "Sagaing"belonging to British Royal Naval service which sank in the seas near Trinco Harbour premises on 09 th of April 1942 as a result of being hit by A japanese Bomb ,and brought it to the shore today.
The ship was hit by a Japanese Bomb dropped by a Japanese aircaft while it was anchored in the harbour during second world war.
The 138 meter long Ship was brought to the shore after a mission carrying out by the Sri Lanka Navy divers since
five months .

service requirements which recommended by the National Police Commission according to the Police Headquarters.
