President Has Removed Central Bank And Securities And Exchange Commission Under The Prime Minister 's Ministry

President Maithripala Sirisena has today (28)removed

the Central Bank and Securities And Exchange Commission attached to the Ministry Of National Policy and Economic Affairs under the Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe and vested with the Ministry Of Finance and Media under the Minister Mangala Samaraweera.

President has removed the Central Bank and Securities and Exchange Commission under the extra ordinary gazette notification No: 2064/26 issued on 28-03-2018 .These institutions attached to the Ministry of Finance earlier had removed from the Ministry and vested with Ministry of National Policy under the extra ordinary gazette notification no :1933/33  issued on 21st of September 2015.

A Person Was Arrested With Two Illegal Locally Made Firearms

Police Officers attached to the Crimes Division of Tissamharamaya Police had arrested a 27 year old  person with two locally made firearms a "Galkatas" and another Bullet used Gun illegally hidden in a house at Beralihela in Tissamaharamaya yesterday(27).

During the investigations it has been revealed that the suspect had bought these fire arms three months ago according to the Police.
