Around 37 Garment Workers Were Hosptalized Due To Breathing Difficulties

Image result for hospital graphicAround 37 female Garment Workers have been hospitalized today (19) due to a sudden Gas Leak  in a Garment Factory at Ekala-Ja-Ela .

 The group of  Garment Workers have been admitted to the Ragama Teaching Hospital with breathing difficulties and their condition is not serious according to the reports.

The Gas leak suspected as occurred  due to a technical default of an Air Conditioner of the Garment Factory.

Colombo Magistrate Ordered The Immediate Arrest Of MP's Wimal Weerawansha And Jayantha Samaraweera

Colombo Chief Magistrate Lal Ranasinghe Bandara has today(19) ordered the Police to arrest the National Freedom Front Parliamentarians Wimal Weerawansha and Jayantha Samaraweera and produced them before the court with immediate effect today (19).

 The Chief Magistrate has made this order due to their absence in Colombo Magistrate Court today (19) during the hearing of a  case filed against seven persons including the two parliamentarians over involved in a protest campaign by disturbing the public against the against the Sri Lankan visit of the United Nations Human Rights Commissioner Prince Hussain  in the year 2016.The case was filed by Cinnamon Gardens Police.

 The case is postponed until 12th of June.


Seven Persons Were Injured Two Of Them Critically And Hospitalized Due To A Road Accident

Related imageSeven Persons including small children were injured two of them critically and hospitalized after the Small Lorry they were traveling in veering off the road and toppled over in Kotagala area on Hatton-Nuwara Eliya  main road this morning(19).
The injured were admitted to the Kotagala Government Hospital for treatment and two females in critical condition were later transferred to the Nuwara -Eliya Base Hospital for further treatment.Two children are among the injured according to the reports.
Around 10 persons residing in Tea Estate area at Pathana area  who have been participated a function in Bagawanthalawa had faced this incident while returning to Pathana it has been revealed.
The accident occurred due to an inability of the driver to control the high speed vehicle according to the Dimbula-Pathana Police.
