A 42 year old person was killed and his wife was injured and
hospitalized due to a gun shooting incident occurred at Armour Street
,Colombo while the couple was traveling in a Motor Car this morning
(19).
The critically injured male had succumbed to
his injuries after admission to Colombo National Hospital and his wife
is currently receiving treatment in the same hospital.Both the husband
and wife were identified as residents of Dematagoda.
Two
unidentified gunmen arrived in from a Motorcycle had shot at the couple
and fled away from the scene according to the Police.
The
cause of the gun shooting has not yet been revealed and the incident
was recorded in the CCTV Camera installed nearby it has been reported.
