There Is No Drug In Western Medicine To Make Someone Infertile-DGHS Dr.Anil Jasinghe

There is no drug in Westetn Medicine to
make someone infertile and only way for doing  that is through a Surgery the Director General Of Health Services Dr.Anil Jasinghe has stated as a response to a debate that is being held  in social media network over there's an attempt to spread infertility among one community by another community.

The debate was created after a consumer found few tablets in a meet curry gravy he ordered to eat with Kottu ratty in a Hotel at Amperage.

After the incident the hotel and some properties attached to it were destroyed by a group of people stating that  there's a conspiracy to spread infertility among Sinhalese community.

Later Armed forces have  intervened and calmed down the situation .

A Youth Was Killed Due To An Explosion In A Scrap Iron Yard At Puttalam

A youth was killed due to a explosion occurred in a
Scrap Iron Yard  in Palaviya,Puttala
m,this morning (04).

The youth was working the Iron Yard  at the time of the explosion . Police believes an object among Scrap Iron at the yard might have exploded.

Puttalam Police are conducting an investigations over the incident.

A 19 Year Old Youth Has Drowned In "Seetha Gangula"At "Sripadha"

A 19 year old youth was drowned and died while
bathing in "Seetha Gangula"(River) at Nallathanniya during his visit to worship Holy Rock "Sripadha" yesterday (03).

The deceased who was a resident of Mabola,Wattala had went to worship Sripadha" with his family members and few of his  friends and soon after got in to "Seetha Gangula " to take a bath the youth had fallen to the river and drowned it has been reported.

The body of the deceased had sent to Nawalapitiya Base Hospital for Post Mortem.

Sri Lanka Navy Had Unconditionally Pardoned The Assaulting Of A Provincial Journalist By The Former Navy Commander In 2016

Sri Lanka Navy had unconditionally pardoned over the assaulting of a  Provincial Journalist Roshan Gunasekare by the Former Navy Commander and Security Chief Of Staff  Admiral Ravindra Wijegunawardane during a protest held at Hambanthota Port premises on 10th of December 2016 ,at the Supreme Court.

The Navy had unconditionally pardoned over the incident by a letter sent to the Supreme Court where a human rights violation petition filed by the Provincial Journalist Gunasekare over the incident is hearing .

The assaulted Provincial Journalist  had filed a Human rights violation petition over the incident in January 2017 in  Supreme Court.
