An Underworld Gang Leader Was Killed During A Gun Shooting Incident With Special Police Task Force Personal
An Underworld Gang member D.Manju was killed during a gun shot exchange with the Special Police Task Force Personal this evening (23)at Wattala area .
The incident was occurred when the Special Police Task Force personal attempting to check a Van at Wattala City in search of narcotics .The group of persons inside the vehicle had shot at the Task Force Personal when attempting to search their Van and Police Task Force Personal too shot at them in reply it has been revealed.
During the Gun shooting the Underworld leader was killed Police have arrested another two persons inside the vehicle.The Body of the deceased had sent to Ragama Teaching Hospital.

Three Indian Nationals Were Arrested With Ten Gold Biscuits In Their Possession
Airport Customs Had arrested three Indian Nationals with 10 Gold Biscuits in their possession at the Katunayake ,Bandaranaike International Airport yesterday(22).
The three suspects who arrived in the Airport to board an Airlines belonging to a Indian Private Airways which fly to India ,had concealed the 10 Gold Biscuits inside their luggage they were detected through a X Ray test it has been revealed.
The Gold Biscuits taken in to custody by the Customs Officers weighing more than 900 grammes and worth nearly Rs.5.5 million according to the Airport Customs.

A Five Member Committee Has Been Appointed To Probe On The Hand Grenade Explosion In side A Bus At Diyathalawa
A five member committee has been appointed as per the instructions of Army Commander
Mahesh Senannayake to investigate on the Hand Grenade explosion occurred inside the Private Bus in Kahagolla ,Diyathalawa on last Wednesday(21) according to the Army Media Spokesman Brigadier Sumith Atapattu.
The committee headed by the Central Defense Headquarters Major General Rukaml Diaz will investigate over the incident widely he has stated.As per the Laws of the Army an investigation Court should be appointed to probe on such incidents and the Committee has been appointed according to it Brigadier Atapattu has stressed.
The Hand Grenade which exploded inside the Bus on Wednesday brought from Jaffna by an Army Soldier in the Bus and while he attempted to put the Grenade in to a bag from his trouser pocket it exploded it has been revealed.The Soldier who brought the Grenade and seated behind the Bus Driver lost his legs because of the explosion according to reports.
Nineteen passengers including Twelve Army and Air force Personal have been injured and hospitalized over the incident.

A Three Wheeler Driver was critically injured and hospitalized after the Three Wheeler he was driving in veering off the road and toppled over to a precipice in Maskeliya area today(23).
The injured driver was admitted to the Maskeliya Provincial Hospital for treatment.The Three Wheeler was traveling from Ratnapura to Sripadha at the time of the accident which occurred due to the inability of Driver to control the speed of the vehicle.
