Government To Go For A Major Cabinet Reshuffle This Week
Government will go for a major Cabinet Reshuffle during this week by restricting the number of Cabinet Ministers in the Cabinet to 30 as per promised during the Presidential Election in 2015 according to the Cabinet Co-Spokesman ,Health Minister Dr.Rajitha Senaratne.
Addressing the Cabinet Press Briefing held at Government Information Department today(15) Dr.Senaratne has said the existing Good Governance (Yahaplanaya) government will remain for next two and half years as well.However those who are in the government itself are criticizing the government he has stressed.

Ruling UNP To Continue With The National Government
The ruling United National Party(UNP) has decided to continue with the present National Government until 2020 and implement speedy party reforms by ruling out the earlier decision taken by the UNP Parliamentary Group to form a single government according to the Party's General Secretary Kabir Hasheem.
This decision to carry on the present National government for another two and half years was taken during a meeting held between the UNP Parliamentary Group and Prime Minister Ranil Wikramasinghe at the Temple Trees in Colombo this evening(15)
According to the UNP General Secretary the UNP will strengthen the government while implementing speedy party reforms by taking in to consideration the message delivered by public during the local government elections .
The UNP will implement speedy party reforms in coming days he has stressed."If anyone or a Party is willing to take over the government they should show their majority " UNP General Secretary has stated.

A Body Of A Chinese National Was Recovered In A Holiday Resort
A body of a Chinese National who died mysteriously on his bed was recovered in a Holiday Resort at Lady Maccalam Drive in Nuwara Eliya.
The deceased had arrived in Sri Lanka recently accompanied by three Chinese Females and they have stayed in separate rooms of the Holiday Resort it has been revealed.
As there's no response from the deceased others have recovered his body when opening the Room door.
Authorities have planned to bring the relatives of the Chinese National and hand over the body to them after the Post Mort-um

Minister Sagala Ratnayake To Step Down From His Ministerial Portfolio
The Minister of Law and Order Sagala Ratnayake has decided to step down from his Ministerial Portfolio according to reports.Minister has already informed on his decision to the United National Party(UNP) Parliamentary Group.
Minister Sagala Ratnayake has stated that he had taken the decision to step down from Ministerial Portfolio behalf of the Party and he will serve in any capacity in future as per the wishws of the Party.Minister has decided to step down due to the charges forwarded against him over the way he worked in the Ministerial post it has been revealed.
