Owner And CEO Of Perpetual Treasuries Have Been Remanded until Tomorrow (05)

The Colombo Fort Magistrate Court has this evening
(04)ordered  to remand the Owner of the Perpetual Treasuries Limited Arjun Aloysius and the Chief Executive Officer of it Kasun Palisena who were arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) today over their involvement in  Central Bank Bond scam, until tomorrow (05).

The court order was made after the two suspects were produced before the court.

Two Females Were Killed Due To A Three Wheeler-Train Collision

Two females were killed and two males were critically 
injured and hospitalized after the Three Wheeler they were travelling in colliding with a Train travelling from Negambo to Colombo at Eriyagahalinda Railway crossing last night (03).

The four critically injured were admitted to the Negambo Hospital for treatment where the two females had succumbed to their injuries after admission.

The two injured males later transferred to the Colombo National Hospital for further treatment.
