Six Female Sex Workers Have Been Arrested In A Brothel House Maintained As A "SPA"

Welikada Police have raided a Brothel House maintained in a pretext of  Ayurveda Massage Center(SPA) in Nawala,Rajagiriya area last night(21) and arrested six female sex workers and their Manager .

The arrested female sex workers are of the ages 23-33 years and residents of  Benthota,Dayagama,
,Monaragala and Thanamalwila areas it has been revealed.The Manager who was arrested at the Center has been identified as a 42 year old resident of Kegalle District.

The suspects are due to be produced before the Hulftsdorf Magistrate Court .

Udarata Manike Train Had Been Cancelled Due To A Falling Of A Huge Rock In To The Rail Track

Due to the falling down of a huge rock in to the Rail
track between Bandarawela and Keenigama of the Upcountry Railway Line, the "Udarata Manike' train sheduled to travel from Badulla to Colombo Fort thid morning (21)had cancelled according to the Sri Lanka Railways Department.

The incident occurred as a result of the heavy showers prevailing in many areas of Central Hills these days according to reports.

The night mail train started from Colombo Fort railway station last night too restricted to Bandarawela due to the adverse weather it has been announced.

Medical Students Launched A Protest Campaign Against SAITM

A group of Medical Students had launched a protest
campaign in front of the University Grants Commission this evening (21)by demanding to abolish SAITM (Malabe Private Medical Collage) before 31st of December.

The group of Medical Students led by Medical Faculty Students Action Committee held the protest campaign around one hour by displying anti SAITM Placards it has been reported.

Meanwhile State Medical Faculty Parents Association has decided to launch protest campaigns against SAITM from today (21) .
