Day To Day Activities Have Been Disrupted In Central Hill Areas Due To Heavy Showers
Day to day activities including Transport services are being disrupted due to the heavy showers and heavy Mist prevailing in western part of the Central Hills since this morning(12)according to the reports.
Due to the continuous heavy showers and Mist transport activities of Watawala to Kithulgala area on Hatton-Colombo main road have been disrupted .However students who are sitting for G.C.E O.Level examination had arrived the Examination Centers to face the Exam amidst difficulties it has been reported.

Airport Customs Have Arrested A 34 Year Old Sri Lankan With A Stock Of Jewelry Brought Illegally
Airport customs officers had arrested a 34 year old Person who had brought a stock of Gold Jewelry illegally by stored them inside of a hand bag with Chocolates from Dubai at the Katunayake,Bandaranaike International Airport today(12).
The stock of Jewelry recovered from the Hand Bag of the suspect is weighing arounf 05.07 Kilo Grammes and worth more than Rs.30 million it has been revealed.
Airport Customs are investigating on the incident.

Twenty Three Indian Fishermen Have Been Arrested While Illegally Fishing In Sri Lankan Waters
Sri Lanka Navy have arrested 23 Indian Fishermen while involved in illegal fishing in Sri Lankan Waters at Delft Sea area in Jaffna early this morning(12).
Navy have also taken into custody the five boats the arrested Indian Fishermen have arrived in and both the Fishermen and the Boats were handed over to the Fisheries Office in Jaffna.
The suspected Indian Fishermen along with their boats are due to be produced before the Kayts Magistrate Court later today(12).
