A Person Was Arrested While Transporting Kerala Cannbis By A Luxry Car

Police have arrested a 22 year old person over transporting more than five Kilo Grammes Of Kerala Cannabis by a luxury Vehicle in Colpetty area yesterday(10).

Police are due to produce the suspect who is a resident of Panadura area to the Colombo Fort Magistrate Court today(11).

Railway Department Has Requested The Retired Train Workers To Report To Work To Cover The Work Of Strikers

The Railway Department has requested from the Retired Train Drivers,Station Masters and Train Guards to report to work in view of maintain the Train Services which collapsed due to the strike action of Train workers .

The Department is due to consider the Striking workers who will not reported to work within today as vacated from their posts as the Train Service has been declared as an Essential Service.

The Railway Department is due to be issued the Letters of Vacating from the posts to the Train Workers who do not reported to work by today.

The Train Drivers,Station Masters and Train Guards are on continuous strike demanding solutions for their service demands since 06th of December.

Police Have Arrested Three Persons Travelling In A Motorccycle With Sharp Objects And Poles

Thelippalai Police have arrested three persons traveling in a Motorcycle by carrying few sharp objects and Poles believed to be for an organized crime at Alaweddi area in Thelippalai,Jaffna.

Police had also taken into custody the four Motorcycles the suspects were riding according to the reports.

A heavy Mist had been reported from many areas in Hambanthota District this morning(11) according to reports.

The Mist had been mostly reported from mountainous areas of the district including Katuwana and Walasmulle Divisional Secretariats.
