Two Members Of "Ava" Group Had Been Arrested In Jaffna
Two members of the Jaffna based sword underworld gang "Ava" Group had been arrested by the Police and Special Police Task Force personal during a joint raid carried out in Kopai,Jaffna area early hours of this Morning(22).
The suspects who are residents of Kopai ,Jaffna had been arrested over violent activities they have engaged in the area it has been revealed.

President Sirisena To Leave South Korea For An Official Visit
President Maithripala Sirisena is due to leave South Korea on 28th of November for a three day offcial visit it has been announced.
President Sirisena visits South Korea as per an invitation made by the South Korean President Moon Jae In to mark the 40th anniversary of the bi lateral relationships between Sri Lanka and South Korea.
During the visit President is due to hold bi lateral talks with his South Korean counterpart Monn Jae In and other leaders of the government and due to sign several mutual agreements related to cultural and economic corporation with Korea.

A Person Was Arrested With Two Kilo Grammes Of Heroin
The officials attached to the Anti Narcotic Division of the Excise Department had last night(21) arrested a 39 year old person with a around two Kilo Grammes of Heroin at the Karuppan sea coast in Chilaw.
The haul of Heroin is believed to be imported from India and worth around Rs.20 million according to the Excise Department.
The arrested suspect who is a resident of Chilaw area is due to be produced before the Chilaw Magistrate Court.
