Two Trade Stalls Had Been Completely Destroyed In Vavuniya Due To A Fire

Two trade stalls had been completely destroyed and
another two trade stalls were partially damaged due to a sudden fire erupted in a Trade Stall scheme in Vavuniya in the wee hours of this morning (20).

The fire brigade attached to the Vavuniya Urban Council along with the residents of the area had doused the fire.

No casualties have been reported due to the incident.Cause of the fire too not yet been revealed according to the authorities.

Sri Lanka Navy Officers had been recovered 153 Kilo
Grammes of Kerala Cannabis while floating in the seas of Point Pedro .

Some persons had yesterday (19) thrown out the stock of Kerala Cannabis worth more than Rs.30 million in to the sea and fled away according to the Navy.

Navy believes this stock may have been brought through the sea route from India.

A Group Of Employees In Petroleum Corporation Had Made A Complaint To The CID Regarding False Rumors On Petrol Shortage

A group of employees attached to the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation(CEYPETCO) had today(20) made a complaint to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) by requesting to hold an inquiry over those who are spreading false rumors that there's a Petrol Shortage in the country through short messages (SMS).
