Twelve Injured Due To A Road Accident
Twelve persons including three children have been
injured and hospitalized after the Cab they were travelling in veered off the road near the Polpitiya wewa at Kadahapola road in Kadapotha area today (14).
The injured have been admitted to the Katupotha Hospital and nine of them were transferred to the Kurunagala Teaching Hospital for further treatment.
The accident occurred due to the inability of the Cab driver to control the vehicle it has been revealed.

An Indian National Staying In Sri Lanka Without Valid Visas Had Been Arrested
Vavuniya Police had arrested an Indian National who
Overstayed in Sri Lanka illegally without valid visas, near the Vavuniya Hospital this morning (14).

Examinations Commissioner Was Transferred To The Education Ministry
Authorities have transferred the Commissioner
General of Examinations W.M.J Pushpakumara this evening (14) to the Ministry Of Education with immediatte effect over the Examination fraud and irregularities occurred recently.
The transfer was made as per the recommendations made through the inquiries held regarding the irregularities it has been revealed.
Recently the authorities have interdicted the head of Privacy unit of the Examinations Department over the same charges.

A Female Was Killed Due To A Bus Run Over Her In Ampara
A 69 Year old female was killed due to a Sri Lanka Transport Board Bus run over her this morning (14) In Ampara .The female who was a resident of Mayadunne,Uhana area was run over by the same Bus she traveled as a result of the victim had fallen towards the Bus while walking along the road after got out from the Bus.Ampara Police had arrested the Bus driver regarding the incident.
