A 28 Year Old Person Has Drowned in Chilaw Seas

A 28 year old Bus conducter had drowned in sea area
in Chilaw this evening (28) while in the beach with his friends.

The victim who was a resident of Kegalle area disappeared after getting caught in sea waves it has been revealed.

Chilaw Police are conducting an investigation on the incident .

A Motorcyclist Was Killed Due To A Motorcycle-Bus Collision

A 22 year old person was killed due to a Motorcycle-
Bus collision occurred in Kuliyapitiya area.

The Motorcyclist who was a resident of Ilukhena area was killed due to the accident it has been reported.

A Female And A Three Wheeler Driver Arrested With A Stock Of "Tramadol"Tablets

Madampe Police had today (28)arrested a female and a
Three Wheeler driver with a stock of powerful pain killer and narcotic " Tramadol" tablets in possession while transporting a part of the narcotic stock in a Three Wheeler.

Accordingly the female and the Three Wheeler driver had been arrested while transporting a stock of 2600 "Tramadol" tablets in a Three Wheeler and the police had  recovered another 6000 "Tramadol" tablets in a house of the female .

It has been revealed that the suspected female had brought the tablets which only issued for mental illnesses under the prescription of a doctor ,from outstation and distributed in Chilaw and Madampe areas.

Four Sri Lankans Went To Italy And Germany Through Fraudulant Docuements Had Arrested And Deported

Four Sri Lankans who went to Italy and Germany
through fraudulant docuements and passports belonging to someone else had been arrested and deported to Sri Lanka by the authorities in those countries.

The four deported persons who had arrived in Katunayake,Bandaranaike International Airport this morning (28) had been arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) officials at the Airport premises it has been reported.

The suspects who are residents of Point Pedro,Trincomalee and Jaffna had been remanded until 30th of October by the acting Magistrate of Minuwangoda after they have been produced before the court today.

CID officers have informed the Minuwangoda acting Magistrate that they will investigate on the Immigration and Emmigration officials who were on duty at the Airport when the four suspects went abroad.
