A Female Was Arrested In Kilinochchi With A Stock Of Kerala Cannabis

Image result for arrestedA 32 year old Female was arrested by the Special Bureau of Deputy Inspector General Of Police  in Kilinochchi and Mulathivu with 04 Kilo Grammes and 700 Grammes of Kerala Cannabis in her possession in Kilinochchi today (24).

The suspected female was arrested while preparing to transport the stock of Kerala Cannabis from Weththalakeni to Trincomalee area it has been reported.

The female is due to be produced before the Kilinochchi Magistrate Court.

A British National Was Arrested With A Stock Of Wallapatta

Image result for arrestedFort Police have arrested a 35 year old British National with 03 kilo grammes and 370 grammes of Wallapatta ("Gyrinops Walla) in his possession at a hotel in Colombo Fort today(24).

The suspect is sue to be produced before the Colombo Fort Magistrate Court.

Around Six To Seven Females Suffering From Breast Cancer Diagnosed In Sri Lanka Every Month-Dr.Nayana De Alwis

Image result for breast cancer awarenessAround six to seven females suffering from Breast Cancer have been diagnosed in Sri Lanka every month according to the Dr.Nayana De Alwis attached to the National Cancer Control Programme.

Addressing a National Programme On "World Breast Cancer Awareness Month " and Distribution of self breast examination mannequins " held in National Blood Transfusion Center in Narahenpita this noon(24) Dr.Alwis has stressed that around 2350 females suffering from Breast Cancer have been diagnoses in 2009  alone  and 22.2 females per 100,000 population of the country are being  suffering from the disease which can be cured if diagnoses early.

Every 90 second one Breast Cancer death has been reported in somewhere around the globe and every sixty seconds a female suffering from Breast Cancer has been diagnosed she has stressed.

Jeep Owners Of Yala Protested Over The Vehicle Restrictions To The Yaala National Wild Life Park

Due to the protest campaign launched by Yala Safari
Jeep Owners and persons related to tourism industry around Yala tourists visited the Yala National Wild Life park through Safari Jeeps it has been reported.

The protest has been launched by the Safari Jeep owners as a protest over restricting the number of vehicles entering daily to the wild life park sources said.

Wild Life conservation department has taken a decision to restrict the number of vehicles entering Yala National Wild Life park in view of of protecting the enviornment of the Park.

Accordingly only 300 vehicles a day will be permitted to enter the Yala Wild Life Park.However this restriction not apply to school children arrived in the
Park and local tourists arrived in from outstations.
