Two Persons Were Killed Due To A Road Accident In Teldeniya

Two persons were killed and around twenty others

were injured and hospitalized after the 7private bus they were travelling in fallen down a 100 feet deep precipice in Rangala ,Theldeniya this evening (08).

The injured have been admitted to Theldeniya Hospital for treatment according to thr Police.

Two Including A Small Child Were Killed Due To A Jeep-Van Collision

Two persons including a three year old boy were killed

and Twelve  others injured due to a Jeep-Van collision occurred on Baduraliya-Kalawana road this evening (08)according to the Police.

The injured who were travelling in the Van have been admitted to Baduraliya and Nagoda hospitals for treatment.

The accident  occurred when a Jeep travelling from Baduraliya to Kalawana by carrying a group of Doctors head on collision with a Van travelling to Baduraliya.

A Sudden Fire Damaged A Trade Stall In Bandarawela

A trade stall in Bandarawela city was damaged due to

a sudden fire erupted in this morning(08).

The fire brigade in Bandarawela along with Electricity board officials have doused the fire and no casualties had been reported due to the fire the Police have stated.

Cause of the fire not yet been revealed according to the Bandarawela Police.

Twelve Persons Injured Due To A Van -Lorry Collision

Twelve persons have been injured and hospitalized

after the Van they were travelling in colliding with a back of a Lorry parked in at nakathegama area in Anuradhapura.

The injured have been admitted to the Nochchiyagama Provincial Hospital for treatment.

The accident was occurred due to the Van driver fallen a sleep while driving according to the Police.

A 19 Year Old Girl Has Drowned In Ranawa Wewa

A 19 year old girl has drowned in Ranawa Wewa

(River) in Galkiriyagama last evening (07)while bathing with her mother and two cousin sisters.

The residents of the area have later recovered the body of the deceased girl.
