President Removed Arundika Fernando From His Deputy Ministerial Portfolio
President Maithripala Sirisena has removed deputy
minister of Tourism promotion and christian affairs Arundika Fernando from his ministerial portfolio today (12).
President has removed the Arundika Fernando from his ministerial portfolio as per the powers vested with him under the Sri Lankan constitution due to violation of cabinet responsibilties it has been reported.

Two Youths Have Been Killed Due To A Bus-Three Wheeler Collision
Two youths have been killed and another two persons
were critically injured and hospitalized due to a luxary bus transporting tourists from Colombo to Nuwara Eliya colliding with a Three wheeler in fairwill garden at Lindula ,Nuwara Eliya this evening (12).
The deceased were travelling in the Three Wheeler at the time of the accident.
The injured have been admitted to the Lindula Hospital and later they were transfered to Nuwara Eliya hospital.

Twelve Indian Fishermen Had Been Arrested In Sri Lankan Waters
Sri Lanka Navy had arrested 12 Indian fishermen
while illegally fishing in Sri Lankan waters at north of Kachchathivu Island last evening (11)with two trawler boats they were arrived in.
The arrested fishermen along with the two boats had been handed over to the assistant director of fisheries in Jaffna for future course of action according to reporrs.
