Landslide Warning Issued To Two Districts

Disaster Management Center (DMC) has today

(12)issued  a  landslide warning to Kegalle and Matale districts for next 24 hours  due to the heavy showers prevailing in these districts.

People living in hill areas of these Districts are advised to be in vigilant over the landslide signs.

Twelve Indian Fishermen Had Been Arrested In Sri Lankan Waters

Sri Lanka Navy had arrested 12 Indian fishermen

while illegally fishing in Sri Lankan waters at north of Kachchathivu Island last evening (11)with two trawler boats they were arrived in.

The arrested fishermen along with the two boats had been handed over to the assistant director of fisheries in Jaffna for future course of action according to reporrs.
