Bond Commission Has Requested The Main Suspect Of Bond Scam To Provide User Name And Password Of His Mobile

Image result for presidential commission of inquiryThe Bond Commission or the Presidential Commission of Inquiry has today(28) informed the main suspect of the Central Bank Bond Scam ,the Director of Perpetual Treasuries Limited Arjun Aloysias to provide the username and password of his mobile phone  he used since October 2016 to the commission.

Bond Commission has taken steps to inform on this to Arjun Aloysias as he refused to handover his Mobile Phone to the Commission.

Earlier Aloysias has stated that his Laptop and Mobile have destroyed in Singapore.

Parliamentary Sessions Adjourned Due To A Tense Situation

Speaker Karu Jayasuriya has adjourned the Parliamentary Sessions this morning(28) until 04th of August due to a tense situation occurred among MP's during a voting taken place regarding the Gazette Notification on making distribution of Fuel an essential Service.

Government has made the distribution of  fuel as an essential service with effect from midnight on Tuesday(25)  due to the strike launched by Petroleum workers.Under the Gazette Notification petroleum workers should be present at work during the strike  and those who fail to report to work consider as vacate from their posts.

Dengue Mosquito Is A Day Biter Like To Hide Under Furniture And Hanged Cloths -WHO Expert Dr.Nagpal

Dengue mosquito Aedes Aegypti is a day biter who can
bite humans during any time of the day although a specific time period given by the authorities from 6 a.m to 8 a.m in the morning and 4 p.m to 6 p.m in the e evening which are peak hours of their bite and the mosqito is hiding in dark places like under the furniture and hanged cloths according to the World Health Organization (WHO) expert Dr.Bhupendra Nagpal.

To avoid mosquito bites public should apply a mosquito repellent,wearing light coloured long sleeve cloths ,use mosquito nets during sleep  and  avoid places mosquitos are he has stressed during a seminar held yesterday (27)at the Government Information Department in Narahenpita regarding the Dengue control.

He has further said that although authorities used fumigation to control Dengue mosquitoes it's not 100%effective and should remove or destroy  water collected containers and medias and clean houses/gardens  and premises seven days a week to keep enviornment clean so the Dengue mosquitoes will disapoear as a result of it.

Around 25 Houses And Buildings In Diyathalawa Damaged Due To Strong Winds

Around 25 houses and buildings were heavily
damaged due to the falling down of trees on them as a result of the strong winds experienced in Diyathalawa, Manikkanda and Ranjallawa areas yesterday (27) it has been reported.Official residences of Army personal among those houses got damaged due to the winds authorities have stated.

Heavy showers are being experienced in central hill areas these days and due to tree falls public are being advised to be in vigilant over the situation.

Meanwhile around 150 families have been evacuated from houses in dikarawa in Bandarawela area as there was a drowning risk in the area caused by adverse weather.The evacuated families are residing in youth force premises in bindunuwewa area .
