Around 13 Rounds Of Old Motar Ammunition Recovered From Kilinochchi
Kangarayankulam Police have recovered 13 rounds of old Motar Ammunition belonging to the LTTE buried in a paddy field at Kangarayankulam area in Vavuniya yesterday (03) evening.
Police have recovered the stock of Ammunition as per an information received through the residents of the area.
The personal attached to the Bomb Defused Unit of the Police Special Task Force are due to visit the area under the special instructions received from Vavuniya Magistrate Court to inspect whether there are more explosives buried in the area.

Crown Prince In Saudi Arabia Arrived Sri Lanka For A Short Visit
The crown prince in Saudi Arabia Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud has arrived in Sri Lanka froma special air line this morning(04) for a four hour short visit.

Three Students Injured Due To A Vehicle Collision In Kilinochchi
Three students have been critically injured and hospitalized after Two motorcycles carrying a group of students attached to a School colliding each other this morning(04) at Annaiilla junction in Kilinochchi area.
The injured students were admitted to the Kilinochchi Hospital for treatment.
Kilinochchi Police are investigating on the incident.

GMOA Has Suspended The Scheduled Island Wide Continuous Strike Over SAITM Issue
Government Medical Officers Association(GMOA) has suspended the island wide Doctors Strike scheduled to be launched from tomorrow(05) for a week period after the discussions held with Minister Of Higher Education and Highways Lakshman Kiriella and Asgiriya Thero over the SAITM Issue the Association has stated today(04).
According to the Secretary of the GMOA Dr.Haritha Aluthge the discussion held with Higher Education Minister Kiriella over the SAITM issue was fruitful and he has promised the Union that the President Maithripala Sirisena will issue a statement regarding the agreed factors on SAITM issue soon.
However if the authorities attempt to legalize SAITM at any instance ,Executive Committee of the GMOA has decided to launch an Island Wide Continuous Strike without a prior notice he has stressed.
