Around 29 Persons Including School Children Have Been Arrested With Narcotics In A Club Party
Police have arrested around 29 persons including
school children with a stock of different narcotics including Heroin in their possession ,while participating in a party held at a club in Hali-Ela,Badulla today (02).
The party was organized through the Facebook and the School children arrested attended the party inspite of going to tution classes according to the police.

A Two Year Old Girl Has Died After Falling From A Lorry
A two year old small girl has died after falling from a
Lorry in Yatawara,Waththegama area it has been reported.
The critically injured girl who was travelling in rear part of the Lorry with her mother at the time of the incident ,had succumbed to her injuries on admission to the Matale Base Hospital.
The deceased girl was a resident of Matale district according to the Police.Police have arrested the driver of the Lorry regarding the accident.

Sri Lankan Students Spent Rs.132 Billion Annually For Medical Education In Abroad
Sri Lankan students are being spent Rs.132 billion
annually for medical education in foreign countries according to the Minister of Health Dr.Rajitha Senaratne.
Only 17% out of the total number of students app
Iied for medicine can be selected for local medical faculties and therefore the 83% who have been not selected are going abroad for medical education Minister has stressed.
Through developing medical faculties here can save this huge amount of money allocated for medical education in foreign countries the Minister have stated .
