Around Five Passengers Were Injured Due To A Road Accident In Badulle

Related imageAround five Passengers have been injured and hospitalized after the Sri Lanka Transport Board bus they were traveling from Kandegedera to Badulla veering off the road at Diyanavalage area in Badulle this morning(30).

The injured were admitted to the Badulle and Kandegedera Hospitals.

Police Have Raided A Large Scale Fake Dollar Printing Center In Diyathalawa And Arrested Three Persons

Image result for fake dollar printingPolice have raided a large scale fake American Dollar notes printing Center in Diyathalawa today(30) and arrested three persons in the Center along with 5200 fake American Dollar notes

The suspects have informed the  Diyathalawa Police that the Dollar notes printed on a black colored paper becomes visible as real Dollar notes after adding a chemical to the paper .

The raid was carried out as per an information received by the Police.

Two Persons Were Injured Due To A Lorry Accident In Ravana Falls Area

Two persons  had been injured and hospitalized  after a Lorry they were traveling in falling down to a nearly 300 feet deep precipice at Ravana Falls(Ella) area on Ella-Wellawaya road this morning(30).

The injured who are resident of Kalmunai area Were admitted to the Badulle Hospital for treatment.

Ella Police are conducting an investigation on the incident.
 

Around 19 Persons Injured Due To A Road Accident In Hali Ela

Image result for accidentAround 19 persons have been injured and hospitalized after a Van they were traveling in falling down a 150 feet deep  precipice at a Paregedera Junction in Hali Ela area today(30).

The injured persons have been admitted to the Badulla General Hospital for treatment and one passenger is in critical condition according to the reports.The accident occurred while the Van travelling from Nawalagama to Badulle.

Two Persons Were Arrested Over Transporting Goats Illegally In Habarana

Habarana Police  have arrested two persons who have
illegally transported 37 goats in a van at Habarana area during a vehicle inspection carried out by the police.

The goats have been transported to Polonnaruwa to Katupotha area at the time of the incident it has been reported.The arrested suspects are residents of Narammala area according to the Police.
