Police Have Filed Legal Cases Against 454 Persons Disposed Garbage Illegally
Police have filed legal cases against 454 persons who
have disposed garbage illegally in Western Province on 21st and 23rd June .
These persons were caught while disposing the garbage during a joint raid carried out by the Police and Army .
Out of the 454 persons who were caught and filed legal cases by security forces 158 were residents of Colombo,north ,central and southern parts,53 were residents of Nugegoda,95 from Gampaha,56 from kelaniya ,30 from Negambo,53 from panadura and 09 from Mount Lavinia area

A Group Arrived In A Car Robbed Rs.7.8 Million Worth Cash In A Van
A group arrived in a Car had fired at a van carrying
cash belonging to an Apparel Factory and robbed the cash worth Rs.7.8 million and ran away today (26)at Ragama (Northern Colombo).
No one in the van was hurt due to the gun shooting incident according to the Police.The van had been transported cash money of the Apparel Factory in Wattala to it's Kadawatha branch at the time of the incident.
Several police teams have been deployed to arrest the culprits and CCTV foot ages are due to be used for the police investigations according to the Police Department.

All Exco Members Of GMOA Visited Welikada Prison To See The Convenor Of Inter University Students Federation Lahiru Weerasekera
All executive committee members of the Government
Medical Officers Association (GMOA) including the president Dr.Anurudda Padeniya and Secretary Dr.Harith Aluthge have today (26)visited the Welikada prison to see Imprisoned convenor of the Inter University Students Federation (IUSF)Lahiru Weerasekera.
During the visit the GMOA officials have inquire on the health status of the convenor of IUSF ,who is in remand over entering the Health Ministry forcibly and damaging it's properties last Wednesday.
