Thalawakele-Dayagama Main Road Completely Blocked Due To A Descend Of A Containter Truck
Transport activities of Thalawakele-Dayagama main
road had completely blocked since this morning (09)due to a descend of a containter truck transporting 28 tonnes of Grass it has been reported.
The container truck which transported grass from Thalawakele to the Animal Farm in Dayagama had descended from one side at third post in nagasena area around 8 a.m according to the police.
Due to this situation police have advised motorists to use an alternative routes when travelling.Only light vehicles are allowed to use the blocked road it has been reported.

Rs.800 Million Needed To Reconstruct Damaged And Destroyed Roads
It has been estimated that around Rs.800 millon
needed to reconstruct the roads damaged and destroyed due to the adverse weather according to the government.
The Road Development Authority has stated it will ready reconstrut the damaged roads whether they are under government or provincial councils.
