Around 11 Female Tea Pluckers Were Hospitalized Due To A Wasp Attack

Around 11 female tea pluckers in Thalawakale area
had been injured and Hospitalized this morning (22) due to a wasp attack.

The injured were admitted to the Lindula Hospital and their conditon is not ctitical it has  been reported.

A Female Was Killed After Colliding With A Matara-Kandy Express Train

A female was killed after colliding with an express train travelling from Matara to Kandy this evening (22) between Hikkaduwa and Kahaw
a Railway stations.

The body of the deceased placed in Kahawa Railway Station.

Police Have Arrested Two Persons Over Stoning Garbage Trucks In Wattala

 Police have arrrsted two persons over stoning and
damaging Garbage Trucks carried Colombo Garbage arrived in Muthurajawela,Bopitiya reserve  this noon  (22)  to dump Garbage there.

A tense situation has occurred after five Garbage Trucks carried Colombo Garbage were stoned by a group of protestors who were protested against dimping Garbage in Muthurajawela.




A Ten Year Old Boy Was Killed And Four Others Injured Due To A Road Accident

A 10 year old boy was killed and four others were
injured and hospitalized after the Three Wheeler they were travelling in toppled over at Kandy-Pujapitiya area last night (21).

The passangers in the Three Wheeler were returning from an alms giving house in Bokkawala area at the time of the accident.

The deceased were identified as the residents of Ankumbura area.

Two Restraining Orders Issued Against Tomorrow's Protest Campaign

Kesbawa and Gangodawila Magistrate
Court have today (21) issued restraining orders to prevent the scheduled protest campaign against dumping Colombo Garbage in Karadiyana  infront of the Karadiyana Garbage Dump  tomorrow (22).

Accordingly the Kesbawa Court has issued a restraining order agsinst tomorrow's protest campaign as per the request made by Piliyandala police and a restraining  order issued by the Gangodawila Magistrate Court as per the request made by Boralesgamuwa police .

Accorfing to the restraining  order issued by the Gangodawila Magistrate Court a peaceful demonstraition. Can be held without any road blockage .
