Tense Situation Occurred In Parliament Over The Time Allocated To Discuss On Geneva Proposals

A tense situation had occurred today (06) in
Parliament after some  joint opposition MP's have protested by stating that sufficent time is not being allocated for the debate on Geneva proposals.

Speaker Karu Jayasuriya along with Parliamentarians Dinesh Gunawardena,Dallas Alahapperuma,Anura Kumara Dassanayake,Bandula Gunawardena and Minister Gayantha Karunathilake involved in heated arguements over the matter during the sessions.

Later Speaker Karu Jayasuriya has adjourned the house until tomorrow (07).

Police Arrested A Police Constable Over Robbing A Chain In Viharamahadvi Park

Image result for robberyPolice have arrested a Police Constable attached to the Cinnamon Gardens Police over robbing of a Gold Chain belonging to a female at Viharamahadevi Park in Town Hall(Colombo).

The suspected Police Constable had robbed the Gold Chain worth more than Rs,80,000 while the Female who owned it with her husband in the Park it has been revealed.

A CTB Bus Caught Fire On Southern Expressway

Image result for southern expresswayA tense situation has  occurred after a Ceylon Transport Board(CTB) Bus traveling from Kaduwela to Galle  suddenly caught fire near the 27th Kilo Meter post  on Southern Expressway today(06). 

Soon after a smoke spreads within the Bus ,Bus driver stopped the Bus and  taken steps to vacate the Bus  as a precautionary measure.

The fire was later doused by the Fire Brigade of Southern Expressway with the help of the Passengers it has been revealed.
