A 46 Year Old Person Was Killed Due To A Wild Elephant Attack

A 46 year old person was killed this morning (22) due to a wild elephant attack in Ulpathara village ,Galenbindunuwewa area.

A wild Elephant attached the deceased while he was in front of his house ithas been revealed.

Police Have Arrested An Estonian National With 10 Grammes Of Hashish

Weligama Police have last night(21)arrested an Estonian National with 10 grammes of Hashish Narcotic in his possession in Udupila,Mirissa (Southern Province) area.

The arrest was made as per an information revived by the Police.

 

Police Have Temporarily Closed Down The Galle Face Road From Lotus Roundabout

 Police have temporarily closed down the Galle face road from Lotus Roundabout in Colombo due to a protest march organized by the Inter University Bhikku Confederation demanding solutions for several of their demands.

The protest march started from Colombo Fort railway station due to arrive in University Grants Commission Building in Ward Place ,Colombo this evening.
