Imprisoned MP Wimal Weerawansha Has Been Further Remanded

Joint Opposition MP and the leader of National Freedom Front Wimal Werawanshe who is in prison over misusing of state owned vehicles during during the previous regime has been further remanded until 03rd of April by Colombo Fort Magistrate today(20).

MP Weerawansha who was arrested on 10th of January by the Police Financial Crimes Investigations Division(FCID)had been produced before the Colombo Fort Magistrate this morning.
